Cristian Axt approaches music production as an extension of artistic creation, where composition, arrangement, sound, performance and recording are conceived as interconnected parts of a single process. Rather than treating production as the translation of a finished musical idea, he develops each project from its earliest stages, shaping its identity through sound, structure and interpretation.

His production work encompasses a wide range of musical territories, from classical and contemporary repertoire to crossover, cinematic and popular music. As composer, producer, arranger and recording engineer, Axt moves between these fields without imposing a predetermined aesthetic, adapting the production process to the character and purpose of each project.

This approach has led to collaborations with soloists, ensembles, composers and artists from different musical backgrounds, as well as productions developed through Waves Affaire and collaborations with international music companies. His work includes original productions, album projects, chamber arrangements, acoustic adaptations, recording sessions and post-production, always with particular attention to the relationship between musical intention and final sound.

For Axt, production is therefore not a secondary stage between composition and performance. It is a creative space in which musical ideas can be reimagined, transformed and brought into their definitive sonic form.
